Dominionism Makes Deeper Inroads into the Republican Party

NOTE: In a word, DOMINIONISM is a dangerous, revolutionary political ideology that is incompatible with - is, in fact, explicitly in opposition to - the basic notions of government by, of and for the people.
Back in July, we reported that Renewing American Leadership (REAL), on which Newt Gingrich serves as Honorary Chairman, was endorsing Lou Engle's "Pray and Act" campaign.  At that time, there was a hard-to-find link to its Pray and Act endorsement within the site.  Now, that link is a banner that appears on the header throughout the site.
Pray and Act endorses a takeover of culture by Christian dominionists (via REAL's link):
… we call on all faithful Christians to join us in the fight to defend life, protect and revitalize marriage, and preserve religious liberty and the rights of conscience.  We must work tireless in all the “seven spheres of cultural influence:” (1) the home, (2) the church, (3) civil government / law / military, (4) business / technology, (5) education, (6) media, and finally (7) arts / entertainment / professional sports.
“There are moments in history when a door for massive change opens. Great revolutions for good or for evil occur in the vacuum created by these openings. It is in these times that key men and women, and even entire generations, risk everything to become the hinge of history—the pivotal point that determines which way the door will swing.” ~ Lou Engle   Source

Here's a video montage, to give a sense of what dominionism is, overflowing with incredible levels of demagoguery and raw political ambition:
